Terrific location with outstanding views across to the island of Korčula. The hotel is maintained to a very high standard by an exceptionally hard-working team, both inside the hotel and throughout the very well kept grounds.
We loved our week here. Highlights included climbing Sveti Ilija, early morning sea swims before breakfast, exploring Korčula Old Town and nearby islands, and simply sitting in our room watching the constant flow of boats across the water.
The food was served buffet-style, with plenty of wholesome options and a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables each day. We were there a week and there was plenty of choice. Again the kitchen staff worked incredibly hard.
A few small improvements would make a real difference. The outdoor table tennis area and boules pitches, and kids play area were looking quite run down, but it wouldn’t take much investment or attention to bring them back into good use.
We preferred a dip in the sea to the hotel pool but the pool always looked very clean and inviting.
This is a friendly, relaxed and family-orientated hotel, rather than formal luxury, but we thought it was exceptionally good value for the quality experience provided.
5* for their activities team, my children really enjoy their games and the children room. The resort is right by the beach, clean and nice water. Smell of sewage from time to time thou.
But, it's a big BUT, the food was horrible they repeated and served old food most of the time. As result I had food poison, my husband and son also had lightly poison. If you are into good food and enjoy eating Do not come here. They let us checked out one day earlier without charging that day though and also gave us free parking. That is a plus for them.
I recommend to the resort:
1. Renovate your rooms, bathrooms are small and outdated. Change carpets as it trapped dust.
2. Training room cleaning staff, except changing towels and fold blankets they did Nothing.
3. Kitchen staff, head chef whoever responsible for the food need to be replaced. No efforts putting into cooking good tasty food but all process and bad ingredients. They have fresh salads and fruits ,i have to say that.
4. The staffs are not well trained for working in hospitality, they all look depressed which created a very sad atmosphere in the restaurants.
5. The bartender girl doesn't look at me or look at me with a porker face when we walking through lobby (maybe she never seen an Asian guest before??). I personally doesn't feel welcome in this hotel at all. Some of the girls in the children room say things behind my back thinking we couldn't understand unlucky for them my husband is fluent at Croatian and they didn't know that since we communicated in English the whole time.
Overall, we had good memories and bad memories in the hotel. However with the price and how far people have to drive to get there then it is not worth it at all.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The location is fantastic, with stunning sea views and a beautiful panorama that you can enjoy throughout the day. The staff are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We also really enjoyed the food, which was varied and of very good quality.
One thing that could be improved is housekeeping. The overall cleanliness could be better, and we had to ask for the bed sheets to be changed. However, every time we requested something, the staff responded immediately with kindness and professionalism.
We also really appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable.
Overall, despite the small housekeeping issue, we had a great experience thanks to the amazing location, beautiful views, excellent food, and outstanding staff. We would be happy to stay here again.
I recently stayed at this hotel with my partner, and unfortunately, it wasn’t as pleasant as we expected.
Positives:
The location is very good, just a 10-minute walk along the coast to the nearby village of Orebić. The hotel also offers bike rental and has direct access to a stony but still nice beach. The staff were very friendly, polite, and always willing to help.
Negatives:
We were quite disappointed that the “all inclusive” package was misleading by our Travel company. Drinks were only included during meals, not throughout the day, which came as a shock since we specifically look for true all-inclusive options where drinks are available all the time. For a hotel with such a high rating, we also expected at least a complimentary bottle of water in the room, but there was none.
The room itself was clean, but if we didn’t keep the window or balcony door open, there was a noticeable mouldy smell after the room had been closed for a while.
There was very little entertainment—mostly bingo and quiz nights—which is not suitable for guests looking for more activity or variety.
This is also not a very child-friendly hotel. The game room has only one table tennis table, and the swimming pool has extremely strict rules: no drinks, no inflatables, and no playing, which we found excessive.
The food selection was quite basic and not what we would expect from a 4-star hotel. Meals were often cold, and the service during meal times was poor. We frequently had to clear our own plates if we wanted to go back for dessert, as staff were not attentive.
Overall:
This hotel may suit guests who prefer a very quiet stay, are happy to buy their own drinks throughout the day (including water), and don’t expect much entertainment. However, it did not meet our expectations for a relaxing, all-inclusive holiday.
Location is great, the stuff were friendly to me. The hotel has almost everything like: small gym, playing room with PS’s, playing room with pin pong table and some playing rooms for kids. The food is nice and variation is also on a good level. What i didn’t liked was that you need to buy water by yourself and the rooms weren’t fully cleaned. But the place is nice so i will give a 5 star rating
