All-inclusive April
Discover the finest all-inclusive resorts in April. Combine filters to find your ideal stay.

April is a month that offers endless possibilities. Winter hasn’t quite gone yet, but spring has clearly begun. On the Mediterranean coast, terraces are filling up, seaside resorts are gradually opening their hotels, and in southern Europe the sun is getting stronger by the day. At the same time, you can still enjoy winter sports in high-altitude ski resorts. That makes April an interesting month for an all-inclusive holiday.
Those who book an all-inclusive holiday in April often do so for peace and certainty. It’s not yet peak season, so hotels are often cheaper and quieter than in summer. You’ll have more space by the pool, restaurants feel less crowded, and the service is often more personalised. However, you do need to choose your destination carefully. April isn’t warm enough everywhere for a proper beach holiday. The best choices are places where spring starts early, such as Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Madeira, Cyprus, Malta, Crete, Sicily, southern Spain, the Algarve and the Turkish Riviera.
For winter sports, April is particularly suitable if you head for higher altitudes. Think of glacier regions, high-altitude French ski resorts, parts of Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Andorra. Lower-lying villages may already be turning green, whilst there is still snow higher up. You should therefore always choose an area at a sufficient altitude with good lift connections.
Why April is ideal for all-inclusive holidays
In April, a good hotel is more of an asset than in July or August. The weather can be lovely, but it can also be changeable. A heated swimming pool, spa facilities, indoor areas, a good restaurant and a comfortable room make all the difference at this time of year. All-inclusive offers peace of mind, as your meals and drinks are already taken care of. That’s handy if a seaside resort isn’t yet fully open.
For families, April often coincides with the May or Easter holidays. That makes it a popular time of year. Family hotels in the Canary Islands, Turkey and around the Mediterranean are particularly attractive at this time, especially if they offer children’s pools, entertainment and spacious rooms.
For couples, April is particularly lovely because of the peaceful atmosphere. No crowded beaches, no packed promenades and often better prices. You can go for walks, read, have lunch outdoors and visit a town or village every now and then.

April is particularly suitable for travellers seeking comfort without the summer crowds. Choose a hotel with a heated swimming pool, a spa and good restaurants. That way, you’ll be well looked after even if the weather isn’t quite on your side for a day.
