Hotel was beautiful for my husband and 3 year old. Room was nice and clean. Pros: Aesthetically pleasing Pools for both adults and kids Water park Food and drinks were decent Lots of excursions - we swam with dolphins and sea lions Cons: Expensive Most of the staff was extremely rude. Like extremely rude. on our first day there I went up to the bar to get my husband and I drinks. I did not bring my room card as no one told me that I had to and I thought I could just give my room number and pay with a credit card. when the bartender asked if I had my room card, I said no I’m so sorry. Let me get it from my husband. She proceeded to say “Jesus Christ” under her breath and lectured me on why I needed to bring my card everywhere with me. Additionally, no one told us at check-in that we were supposed to get bracelets to enjoy the beaches and waterpark. We found out on day three after being treated like we had snuck into the resort. 2 bottom shelf drinks - 60$ We were told by staff on our last day there that my three year-old was supposed to eat free at all restaurants. Nobody told us this when we checked in so we had been paying for his food and drinks the whole time. when we brought it up to staff at checkout, they informed us that it’s actually only at specific restaurants that kids get free food and drinks. if we had known this from the beginning, we would visited those restaurants more often.

This review is so deserved! I went to the Atlantis Hotel after having extremely challenging health issues related to my disabilities, to convalesce and complete my year end university papers. The original room I was put in was fine-lovely and clean, with a great view, but it was extremely noisy. I spoke to another guest on the same floor and she said she didn’t notice it, so it might just be me(light sleeper?). The hotel staff were extremely supportive when I came to them and went above and beyond to get me a room that was quiet and easily accessible for my disability on the ground floor. Everyone of the staff that supported me through the process deserves a shout out, Mrs Hati, Mrs Georgia, Mr Hatam and Mrs Sophia all listened to my concerns and even empathised with my challenges. I was treated with dignity and respect, which goes a long way! Adding that human touch to our interactions. The food and drinks, the waiting on staff, and the facilities are exceptional. I have worked in customer service and hospitality for 20+ years, which has deepened my insight into how places are ran, and all I can say is this hotel deserves all the accolades! If you’re planning a trip as a solo traveler, or going with loved ones, I highly recommend it. Thanks again Atlantis Hotel, Jenine

Overall, the hotel makes a very good and well-maintained impression. The rooms are very clean, and the staff have been friendly so far. Unfortunately, however, we had a very disappointing experience with the service today. We had a reservation at a restaurant and were specifically advised by the hotel to book our taxi well in advance, as taxis on Kos can often be delayed. Naturally, we followed this advice. Only after asking about the taxi ourselves were we informed that it would be significantly delayed, putting us at risk of missing our restaurant reservation. What disappointed us most was not the taxi delay itself – which is obviously not entirely within the hotel’s control – but the way the situation was handled. No alternative solution was proactively offered to us, nor did we receive an apology. Instead, we had to suggest possible solutions ourselves. Especially after being advised by the hotel to arrange the taxi early, we would have expected more proactive communication and assistance when a problem occurred. This is unfortunate, as the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff have otherwise been very positive. A more professional and solution-oriented approach in situations like this would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, we asked for a late checkout and got it straight away. Rooms were adequate, photos were a bit deceving but the air con was amazing. Food was okay, I'd reccommend going to the snack bar for a gyro for lunch which was on point. The grounds were immaculate, well kept, the view was stunning looking out at the beach. We had to pay 5 euros each for a sun lounger on the beach which I thought was a bit expensive. Entertainment was very good. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

In general it was good. We had issues with the plumbing in our room and for the last 2 days we're moved to an alternative room. The food was ok but a bit repetitive and I was ill on one occasion during the week. I can't really comment on drinks as we purchased our own for outside the hotel during the week, we drank the beer and that was it, wine and cocktails were terrible. Staff and entertainment team were all really good. The hotel was in a good location 20mins away from Kos centre. We probably wouldn't go back again but it was ok for 1 week.
