We have stayed here for 3 nights and had the best time. This hotel has exceeded my expectations. The whole hotel is lovely and modern. Amazing arcade and playpark for the kids. Great parking, great location and the Dinosaurs at the entrance are a hit with the kids. We never went to the playplace as it was such nice weather while we were here we made the most of it. The only downfall to this hotel I would say is that staff aren't very helpful, doesn't seem to be much staff going about the place for the size of it. Our room was perfect for just the 2 of us but as I'm abit of a clean freak I would say the cleaners need to pull their finger out a bit more. ( Giant dead moth stuck on the wall next to the window, all around the bedroom drawers dusty, should be hoovering skirting boards!!) I was happy to overlook these things as evrything else was brilliant and we will definitely book again. Also check in is a nightmare we came at 5pm thinking it would be quicker but was still standing for a good 40 minutes before we got checked In.
Hotel is ok on the whole. We had the The steak sandwich from the bar for lunch. It needs to come with a warning. It's stacked. I was very impressed. We had steak pie for dinner it came almost cold not very impressed. The bar man Walter was hard pushed staffing the bar and the coffee shop at the same time. I think he may be the only Scottish/ British staff member I came across. The soft play was good value for money. The dinosaurs are brilliant. The golf was actually good too.
Nice hotel, with spacious rooms. We had bunk beds in separate rooms which was a novelty and really good and a change from the normal 2 double beds. The view from the room consisted of the top of a roof so that was really disappointing. Buffet dinner selection was limited and one of the cooks giving out the pizza was extremely rude and the salami on the pizza wasn’t even cut. The breakfast was better, much more choice. We didn’t have any problems with the staff and they were all helpful and courteous.
We stayed at Coylumbridge Hotel Resort in Aviemore for one night, from Saturday to Sunday, with our teenage children and our dog. We had a half-board stay, and overall we had a really lovely experience. First of all, the hotel completely won our hearts because it is 100% dog-friendly❤️. This meant a lot to us❤️ The hotel is located in a peaceful area, surrounded by plenty of beautiful walking routes and outdoor spaces, which was perfect for us and our dog. There is also a lot to do on site, including a swimming pool, gym, mini golf and an arcade, which makes it a great place for families. The dinner included in our stay was quite satisfying, and everyone in our family found something they enjoyed. Breakfast was also well stocked, with a good variety of options. Our family room for four people had a double bed and a separate area for the children with bunk beds, which gave us some space and privacy. We also appreciated that there were fans in the room, as it was quite warm. However, I must admit that investing in air conditioning in the rooms in the future would definitely be a good idea. The lady at reception was very friendly and explained everything clearly to us. The restaurant staff were also very welcoming, and there was a very kind gentleman from Romania working at the bar. There was also live music that evening, which added a lovely atmosphere to our stay. After reading some of the one-star reviews, I honestly wondered where such low ratings came from 😅 Of course, you can’t please everyone, even in a five-star hotel 😉 We will definitely return to this place. For the price, we would happily recommend it to anyone.
This is a stones through away from Aviemore. It has X2 pools a sauna and a fun house. Rooms are very clean and hotel is emaculate. Staff are fabulous. My only advice would be to try get a first floor or second floor room, the noise from people staying above you can keep you from sleeping,
