Clean, well maintained, with very welcoming staff who made language no barrier. Our children loved every minute of their swimming, climbing, and riding. The swimming facilities were especially impressive with something for everyone (baby pool, toddler pool, wave pool, lazy river, rapids, slides, water playhouse and more...). The Baluba soft play was also huge, and kept the kids well entertained when not swimming. Activities were very reasonably priced (especially compared to UK Center Parcs) with no gouging of a captive audience. Restaurant menus were somewhat limited, with higher (but still reasonable) prices, as food was good quality with friendly service. Planning to self cater at least in part would be recommended if you want to avoid rehashing meals. Onsite supermarket was well stocked, and sold non-UHT milk for British travellers. Highly recommended by this UK traveller, despite the long travel time with children.
Absolutely brilliant centre parcs, with loads of activities. There tonnes for the younger children to do with a humongous soft play centre, animal enclosure, horses and pony's to ride etc. My 4 year old loved the ride on land-rover kids safari. Our only complaint is the food in main restaurants is a bit pricey for the quality. Other than that, absolutely nothing else to mention other than its pretty special here. The pool complex is the best I've ever been in.
Lovely park - Erperheide! With kids of 8,5 and 2.5 yo lots to do with the sweet spot for the 5 year old. Aqua Mundo is fantastic. Great location in the forest, so your cottage doesn't get too hot in the summer as there is plenty of shade. I can also totally recommend the pony vakantie. One star I took out for the prices in horeca and the supermarket - really too high to be able to fully enjoy freedom and not having to cook your own food.
A nice kid-friendly park. Lots to do for kids. Even in bad weather. The cottage was okay. No complaints, no praises. Ours was a little damp, but it stayed cool - even in 30+ warm weather. The swimming facility is a dream for kids and parents. But I wouldn't go here if you don't have kids. Its expensive, even the little supermarket feels like they're cheating you, and very limited in products. The restaurants are very expensive too to what you're getting. I've been going to centerparcs facilities ever since I was young. It's a safe choice all-be-it pricy.
We had a great time here as a family of four. The lodges are fairly good, some imperfections but nothing significant. The sports on offer were helpful and the kids enjoyed the freedom to cycle on their own without car challenges. We’d happy visit again
