located in a very busy neighborhood, lots of people, hotels and bazaars, but it’s very close to the beach (around 10 minute walk). rooms are clean, the staff is super friendly and speaks a mix of languages so it’s a bit funny but easy to communicate with them😅 the food is very good, bufet always has a wide variety of different foods. the pool area is very loud though.
We just spent a week at the Grand Şeker Hotel and we can certainly recommend this hotel. We don't get some of the negative reviews—our experience was different. For this hotel type and price range, everything was as expected or better. Staff is great! Everyone we met was very friendly, smiling, and helpful. Our room was small but clean and well equipped. We liked the food; it was the best we've had from similar hotels we've been to in Türkiye. Pools were okay, and there is a quite nice pool for small children. The beach is clean, and during our stay, the sea was definitely not dirty as mentioned in some reviews—it was just a bit cloudy by the sand at the shore, but still very clean. Our experience from the hotel was positive. Thank you, Grand Şeker staff!
We recently returned after staying for a week. Staff are friendly, everywhere is kept clean and the food is great with a lot of options. The beach is around a 5 minute walk away and plenty of sunloungers for everyone. The hotel has almost 100% German guests so the staff usually assume people speak German. If you don’t speak German or Turkish you will probably find communicating difficult here. Most guests were smoking around the pool and outside restaurant areas despite children being present- this wasn’t ideal but wasn’t the hotel’s fault, just something to be aware of. We were able to check out late and continue using the facilities, eating/ drinking for a few hours before our pick up and we weren’t charged extra- this was a nice touch! There is a bus stop a few minutes down the road to go to Side or Manavgat which was great.
We are second time in this hotel. First of all is very bad wifi which you muss pay extra. According to other 5 star no hotel is extra fee for not food working wifi unacceptable.In beach you dont have coctails but its doesnt matters because they are terrible Also in hotel. We have got to go to next hotels for drinks. The pool bar food its still same. Sunbeds on beach are not cleaned and beach is very dirty. In high seasons they cant make clean dishes and cups so its take more then 30 min to het something to drink. Kids club and program its very poor Also the night dancing program for kids i dont recommed it all. Daily activity Also still the same but some days they make special partys only good thing to have fun. I cant rate this hotel whit 5 stars. We hoped that after reconstruction something changed. But only what we get was nôt good Room cleaning Also be ready for cockroach.But we are unhappy whit the rest. We got two times strong eye infection i think from pool. So when you want to go to this hotel whit kids Chose other one its better for older people.
This is perhaps the lowest quality hotel we've ever stayed in. The food quality and safety is appalling (we were served raw food, including chicken, more than once and the manager Hakki did not care), most of the staff are rude or ignore non-Germans (perhaps this is more a symtom of the fact that the hotel isn't English-speaking, despite what they advertise, as opposed to intentional rudeness) and the facilities advertised are either not present or poor quality. The one redeeming feature was the spa, which was good value for money.
