Very good

Lovely quiet hotel near the picturesque beach. Rooms are clean. Basic drinks included for the all inclusive. Food is OK. We enjoyed the salad and meats. We didn't really like any of the deserts though. We were worried when reading upon some of the reviews initially, but were relieved when we arrived. Staff are welcoming and helpful. You get why you pay for. We used this hotel as a good base for our our holiday. It was a bit of a pain at breakfast as you can't really get a drink until 11am when the bar opens. It would be great if there was somewhere to get drinks on the all inclusive where you can chill by the pool in the morning. Great price as we only paid a few euro extra for all inclusive. It worked out well for our short stay holiday.

In May it was quiet but I expect the summer will be busy. To move outside the area you would need transport. The beach below has good access and parking. There are 180 steps down from the mirador point. (Believe me I counted them on the way up!) The food was basic but adequate for a short stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. The pool area is quite spacious.

Lovely hotel but high up on a cliff. Rooms were very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the main hotel with a sea view room. Pool was great with lots of sunbeds. Food was good with quite a few choices at the self service buffet.

We had a really lovely holiday at the Bluesea Playa Azul hotel. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, although there were a few things that could have been mentioned when we checked in - for instance the safety deposit box In the room, the reusable cups At the bar which you had to lay a deposit for, pool towels (or not!). Restaurant and bar staff were friendly and helpful - noted that no gloves seemed to be worn around food and drinks/ cleaning tables etc. saw the barmen empty bins and take rubbish to main bins then coming straight back to handle cups and glasses/ pour drinks without washing hands or wearing gloves.

Super 3-star hotel with beautiful view! The staff is very helpful and kind! Gréta, the Hungarian receptionist was a great surprise and peak of our stay! Cleaning ladies are also very smiley, no matter if you dont understand them, you always find a way ;)
