I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I stayed at another Vibra hotel last year and had a great experience, so my expectations were quite high.
This time, perhaps because it was peak season, the room condition and housekeeping service were below what I would expect for the price.
I still like Vibra hotels overall. The staff were generally helpful, and the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent and definitely good value.
However, when we arrived, there wasn’t even a blanket in our room. When we asked housekeeping, they told us to contact reception, and then reception referred us back to housekeeping. Unfortunately, several small requests ended up being passed back and forth in the same way.
The daily housekeeping was also inconsistent. Towels were changed, but the floor and bathroom weren’t properly cleaned, and basic items like toilet paper weren’t always replenished.
In addition, our room (1089) felt quite dated. The furniture, fixtures, and materials all seemed old and in need of refurbishment, which made the room feel less premium than expected.
Overall, I still enjoyed my stay, but I think the housekeeping, room maintenance, and coordination between departments could be improved, especially considering the rates charged during peak season.
Basic 3*. Slow on reception (though Mario was very friendly). Not really all inclusive as have to pay deposits for everything - tokens for a cup, 20€ for a towel which they can’t record on their system so have to keep the piece of paper to get the money back. Snack bar had nothing left out of normal eating areas. Food very basic poor quality / cooking but you get what you pay for. Fruit juice fake and full of sugar/processed. Very slow to return money for tokens / towels on checkout. Can only get drinks for 2 people at a time at reception. Not enough sunbeds. Charge extra for the front row sunbeds 50€ a day. Reception and pool modern but rooms and bathrooms very dated. Poor cleaning. Towels removed from room and not replaced. Managed to get from reception but then had no bath mat or hand towel. Balcony nice enough. It’s ok for a quick party trip but is a basic 3*.
Other than the amazing location, the best about this hotel are the swimming pool and bar areas for sure. The waiters are kind and serve great drinks for being an all inclusive, the pool area is super, you can see that is modern, and there is a great vibe.
The quality of the food/restaurant is mid, I was expecting a bit better and I felt that it was not at the level of a 3 stars hotel.
The rooms (or at least our room) were terrible, very very old and tiny, more of a 1 star hotel. Overall our experience was OK, since we have not spent much time in the room, but for the price paid we were expecting something better….
My boyfriend and I flew from the United States to Ibiza and stayed at this hotel. The first person to greet us was Milhane. In the U.S., many hotel workers can be a bit rude and lack manners. Milhane had the perfect personality and attitude during our check-in and even when we checked out late. I noticed he had a trainee badge, but he’s far more than just a trainee. He made eye contact with us perfectly, communicated with us even when he didn’t have the answer right away, and still went to find the answer. We’re so grateful and blessed to have such amazing customer service from him and the rest of the team. Our country should learn and take tips from all of you. Thank you so much, and please acknowledge this young gentleman; he’s perfect for the job. God bless.
If you're a food lover, be warned. This hotel will make you cry. If you get all inclusive, do it for the drinks and stay away from the restaurant, at all times. There are plenty of decent options around, and especially in Eivissa town. Here, your heart could break and your palate could suffer a long lasting trauma. You want details? Sure:
Right now we're at lunch. The Rose fish is fully dried out, and oversalted. A pitty that they had to die for this. The meatballs are oversalted and drowning in an uninspired sauce. The Quiche would make a French question their EU membership - it completely lacks of taste. So would the Germans for the German salad, and the Italians for the various dishes they call Pasta here. Paella is a decent one, and the rice is edible too, as are the fruits and most salads. The French fries are not. Desserts will make your pancreas think about spontaneously developing Diabetes. Yesterday we had pork that was freshly prepared, so at least hot (in contrary to the rest), but was in its consistency comparable to rubber soles.
Also, stay away from the snack bar. These were the worst French fries of my life - soggy and, I wonder how that happens, cold. As were the nuggets.
The hotel itself is well located, we love the friendly staff, and it's generally trendy. But Google asks whether this is luxurious, has a nice view, is romantic, quiet, family friendly, has good price-value or is technically well-equipped - it's none of the above. We paid ~400 per night though, and the Grand hotel is 500, also all incl. A bad decision of ours. Last year the rate was 200 per night, which would be acceptable.
