We had a enjoyable stay. The hotel is located in a quiet, green area, making it a perfect place to relax. The rooms are renovated, comfortable, and have large balconies where you can comfortably sit and enjoy the afternoon. I recommend choosing an east-facing room, as it stays much cooler during hot summer days. The free Wi-Fi worked very well. The food is mainly local cuisine, with some truly delicious dishes. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis, so there was plenty of food throughout the day, and the local house wine and beer were both very good. The hotel also has two swimming pools, including a thermal pool, and a spa area. The surrounding park, with its mature trees, creates a peaceful atmosphere for relaxing. A special thank you to the staff, who were always kind, friendly, and helpful. Even though not everyone spoke English, they always did their best to assist us. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money, and we would happily stay here again.
The location we arrived to from Budapest by train and bus was peaceful. Walking into Hévíz by foot was possible with optional short forest trail. The town was pretty with touristy shops, cafes and restaurants leading to the main thermal lake site. The Hunguest Helios Hotel works at your pace. We used the outdoor pool to relax, read and cool down, and also the indoor thermal pool. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable there. It was also possible to catch a bus a few hundred metres in the next street onward to Zalaegerszeg.

Two friend couples went on weekend to wellness. LOCATION was great, it was near Balaton. STAFF everyone were polite and generous. ROOMS were very pretty, but there were bugs on table and curtains. I hate insects! But still they were gorgeous. MEALS that we were able to eat were delicious. There was nothing wrong with food. You could pick from various dish. Included VEGETARIAN option once. But here is the TWIST that we noticed. SPA/WELLNESS section was really weak. I mean for all the people that can be at this place at the same time it's not enough. Saunas here are for 2 or max 4 people, one swimming pool outside was good, the outside pool for kids was drained out because if was cold for them to be outside but it is an option too in summer, the termal one outside was best with bubbles too, the pool with termal (i think some mineral bc it stinks) water that didn't seem clear like on photos at all or single jacuzzi also for minimum of people what's a bit a shame. Music at all places would be a good relief of a stress too. At the end i liked hammaks near hotel for rest, also you can rent here bicyles and 4 electric scooters.
