We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Common areas were both serene and homey. The staff was helpful and breakfast comprehensive. The hotel is situated in a quiet street a short walk away from the main museums. We did Enjoy drinks and snacks (vine, Juicea, coffee, olives, cheese, almonds etc) at the hotel in the evening while resting from the busy city )If we ever visit Amsterdam again we’d deffinitely stay in Jan Luyken again.
We had a fantastic stay from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome, and the thoughtful anniversary treats in our room made it feel extra special. The hotel exceeded all our expectations. It’s in a great location and offers cozy communal spaces where you can relax with a variety of drinks and snacks, it truly felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was included and was excellent, with great coffee options and a delicious selection of food to start the day. The afternoon cheese and wine were a lovely added touch and thoroughly enjoyable. The location is ideal l, set on a quiet street between Museumplein and a street lined with high-end designer shops. It’s also incredibly convenient, with a tram stop just a two-minute walk away. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, and created a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. We loved our stay, it was the perfect place to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We can’t wait to return to our favourite city, and now, our favourite hotel. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.
What a perfect hotel. I have totally fallen in love with this place. The staff are so lovely, the communal areas are gorgeous + the atmosphere is very laid back and quaint. It’s in the perfect location, v close to the park, museums and the best vintage shops! I had no idea the food and drink was all complimentary until we got here, which is such a nice touch. It has such a community feel to it. The room was on the smaller side but the beds are extremely comfortable. We will 10000% be coming back. We loved it.
Fantastic location for art lovers, shoppers and those who need a few steps away from the crowds. Nicely decorated living room, dining and lobby that give homey feels. Really feels like staying home. Just the room that is small, literally bave difficulties in opening our big luggage. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Breakfast is lovely with selections beyond my expectation. It has a small but nice gym. Lovely hotel with friendly staff!
Fantastic on all counts! In a really nice area but close to Vondelpark and the city centre. Staff very friendly and professional, lovely hotel, room had everything I needed and was clean and well maintained. Air conditioning was super! Drinks, snacks and breakfast all great. Cannot fault it!
