Lyttos Beach is a nice hotel for families with children. The food is excellent, with a huge variety of options every day. There are plenty of swimming pools, a massive water park, direct access to the beach, and great evening shows. The animation team is also wonderful - very friendly, enthusiastic, and great with kids.
The hotel also has an excellent sports center with many facilities. However, I was surprised that tennis and padel courts require an additional fee and are not included in the hotel stay.
The only downside is that the kids' club could be better organized. Most activities take place inside the club itself. If children want to go to the playground or the water park as part of the program, parents have to accompany them there and sign them in. This can be quite inconvenient if you're relaxing at the beach or in the room.
I also had a very disappointing experience at the spa. I booked a facial and back massage. The treatments themselves were pleasant, but during the massage the therapist performed some stretching techniques and injured my lower back. My back became completely blocked, and the next day I had to find a chiropractor in the nearest town. Unfortunately, the last three days of my holiday were ruined because I could barely move.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel for families. It offers excellent facilities, nice food, and a wonderful atmosphere for children. However, I would be cautious about booking treatments at the spa.
This was the first time visiting Lyttos beach, myself and my family really enjoyed the stay from start to finish. The place itself was kept to a very high standard with the rooms and pools cleaned everyday. The food was amazing every day and we didn’t have one bad meal during the full week’s stay. The entertainment was amazing offering a different show in the theatre every night. The entertainment team were really enthusiastic and fun.
Overall we would definitely book to come again and we are going to return next year
We stayed at Lyttos Beach at the start of June and overall had a really wonderful time. There is a lot to love about this resort, but a few areas could use a bit of fine-tuning.
The Highlights:
Excellent Facilities & Water Park: The water park is fantastic and was a massive hit. Just a heads-up if you are visiting in early June—the water can be a bit on the colder side, but it didn't stop us from enjoying it!
Staff & Cleanliness: The cleaning standard is excellent throughout the resort, and the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
Specialty Dining: The themed restaurants are really nice, offering great food and a much more relaxed atmosphere.
Areas for Improvement:
The Main Restaurant: While the food selection is large, the main buffet restaurant gets incredibly crowded and very noisy during peak times, which can make dining feel a bit chaotic.
Seasoning: This was our main downside regarding the food—a lot of the dishes come out quite bland. The quality is absolutely there, it just drastically needs more seasoning and flavor depth.
Overall, it’s a beautiful place with great energy, brilliant staff, and top-tier activities. We would definitely recommend it, especially for families!
An excellent hotel. We were a couple with three children. There was an abundance of food. It is a fantastic all-inclusive hotel. plenty of pools, an excellent water park, a variety of restaurants, and great accommodations; it is clean and of a very high standard.
Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed the hotel, but there are a few areas that could definitely be improved.
The room cleaning was disappointing — the floors were barely wiped and the overall cleaning could have been much more thorough. The restaurant cleanliness could also be improved.
When we checked in, the reception staff didn’t explain anything about the hotel or where to find our room, so we were left trying to figure everything out ourselves. A short introduction about the facilities and directions would make a big difference to the guest experience.
The hotel has a lot of potential and we enjoyed our stay overall, which is why I’m giving 4 stars, but better attention to cleanliness and guest service would make the experience much better.
