With a group of 50+ singles I had a nice stay Mangia's Pollina in may 26. Everything can always be better but in fact I have no complaints. Rooms are basic but clean and well maintained. Food was excellent, service okay. Excursions were very good organised. A stay at a resort is unusual for me as I'm more interested in history, culture, art and above all: music. Laetitia performed three nights with her guitar. I was very impressed how she plays well known songs modifying the lyrics and rythms and also adding stanza in Italian which I didn't understand but I felt vibes. She's a great artist. My family and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The resort has spectacular views where the sea meets the mountains, a great location, delicious food, a lovely restaurant/s and terraces, and a beautiful beach easily reachable by elevator. The large resort area is perfect for nice walks and sports. The staff were very friendly (great thank you to Francesco and hotel's manager) and professional. The manager and the team were always present at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, checking that guests were happy and everything was running smoothly. We highly recommend Mangia’s Resort Pollina and would happily return for another vacation.
The resort is very big and beautiful, with a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. The swimming pool was amazing and offered stunning mountain views. The rooms were decent, although they did not fully give a luxury resort feeling. The service was okay overall. One of the highlights was the beautiful sunset view from the restaurant. The resort also has several lovely sunset viewpoint spots that are perfect for relaxing and taking photos. There is also an elevator that takes you directly to the private beach, which is very convenient. The spa facilities were very nice, but it’s best to book in advance as slots can fill up quickly. The resort also offers a great variety of daily activities and schedules such as yoga, tennis, padel, and functional training, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. They also provide a taxi service to Cefalù, which can be booked through the resort. The round trip costs around €70.
Excellent hotel located in a beautiful area. The staff are very friendly and courteous, especially the bartenders. There is a wide variety of delicious food to choose from. The rooms are clean, tidy, and cleaned every day. There are live music events daily. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
We had a great and relaxing time during our stay at Mangia’s Pollina. We really appreciated the location, the stunning views and the attention to details within the gardens and green spaces surrounding the resort. We also really valued the presence of many quiet spaces where we could reconnect with the beauty of the Sicilian nature. Breakfast has all the choices you can think of (savoury/sweet) and an amazing selection of cakes and desserts including traditional Sicilian specialties. The food quality is high. We did not really like the cappuccino and coffee provided at breakfast, as we thought it did not pay justice to what you would expect to get in Italy. We would also encourage the restaurant staff to better label what is offered. As an example, the cheese selection was only indicated with the label ‘cheese’ without specifying that some varieties did contain nuts (could be an issue for people with allergies). The range of fitness activities offered is amazing including Pilates, Yoga offered by the pool and the beach. We would like to mention Benedetta and Giovanna who have been special during our stay and have made me go back to their classes every day. Our 2-year old really enjoyed the Kids Club and playing with Oussama who has always been very enthusiastic to spend time with him. The space that the resort has available for children is very well maintained and equipped and the staff, including Sabrina and Alice make an effort to keep it entertaining. The resort is overall child friendly. We would have probably appreciated more pushchair friendly routes to the beach and swimming pool as ramps could be added next to some of the staircases.
