Clean and quiet hotel premises, wonderful and kind staff. Excellent cuisine, only slightly famous drinks and chlorinated water from the machine. Overall a great holiday!!!
This hotel is whole catastrophe, in the room is no elektricity and tap water. We are staying here now and nothing works, the reception has just excuses and nothing do with that. In the room are a lots of bedbugs I attached a photo. We pay for 5 adults and one of us get a extra bed which is really hard so it isn’t possible to sleep. air conditioning is also not working. In Crete is really windy, like really really. The door in the room doesn't seal, so they bang on you all night and it's very loud. We are staying in the room 1612. The worst hotel we ever stay. 😔😔 we have small baby and we can not even bath her because the water is not working.
Peaceful and Relaxing Stay
We had a lovely time at Mare Village. The beachfront location is stunning and so peaceful — perfect for unwinding. Our room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful sea view. Staff were friendly and always helpful. The pool and breakfast were great, and we really enjoyed the quiet, laid-back vibe. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway in Crete!
First of all, I’d like to say that this hotel is great! Everything from the atmosphere to the amenities exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety, and the drinks were OK. We met some wonderful people during our stay and had a lot of fun together. The beach was beautiful and easily accessible, and the pool area was clean and relaxing. Overall, it was truly a 10/10 experience and we’d definitely consider coming back. The hotel is great, especially if you enjoy mountains and relaxing by the pool. There’s also easy access to the beach thanks to the hotel’s shuttle bus, which made getting around super convenient.
The only downside we noticed, was an uncomfortable incident at reception. One of the ladies at the reception (probably in her 50’s) seemed to be yelling at the staff, which didn’t sit well with us. The young woman that got yelled at remained calm and even told everyone not to worry. Still, it felt unprofessional and a bit upsetting to witness.
Aside from that, everything else was fantastic, and we hope management addresses that issue for the sake of their hardworking team. Me and my girlfriend recommend the hotel, especially for those who love nature, poolside relaxation, and beach access.
Wonderful experience! The hotel is very clean, modern, and ideally located. Staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
Everything was perfekt!
