I stayed here with my family for the past week, location was good had supermarket close by and little shops for souvenirs. Always had taxis nearby was never a struggle. Staff was really nice made sure everything was clean while some of them was also bartending! Cleaners was so sweet every morning Entertainment was very fun an entertainer called Razi was always putting everyone in a good mood so lively made you feel at home and was the best however we was told he was leaving which is sad to hear he was the best part of the hotel!! He was so insanely funny always has a smile and the 2 days he was working while I was on holiday was the best!! Genuinely you need more staff like Razi I also really enjoyed how there was music all day apart from Tuesday.
It was our daughters(granchild) choice because she was going with somebody else so we tagged along, having read other reviews some where good others right. Hotel was generally Good ,but some areas needed tlc. ie room decor no air con unless asked for and leaving room at 12.00 and our transfer not till 7.00 it really needs a male/female changing room for late leavers, food and cleaning g excellent but somebody who had been in may said the entertainment was way better. (Wasit because
Lovely hotel and all staff friendly, great for families with kids of all ages. Plenty of entertainment and good selection of food - especially considerate of people with allergies. We loved the lion king production, special thanks to Berliza and the whole team for making our holiday very special ⭐️
Family of 3 with a 7yo child. We spent the best 3 weeks here at Mirador Maspalomas by Dunas. All the staff is amazing, friendly, smily, helping, happy. Reception is fantastic, Lifeguards are truly amazing and knowledgeable, the staff at the restaurant are the best and absolutely lovely and patient, Cleaners are thorough and fast.
We were trated so well by everyone, they helped us in every little thing, we all have disabilities, allergies, and other health issues, but we never felt like we weren't taken care of; they were absolutely amazing dealing with every request and patient with us.
Mini Club staff is brilliant, they really care for the children and put up a lot of fun games for adults and children.
We recommend this Resort and we will be back next year!
Also, Maspalomas is a beautiful place.
Just came back from a weeks stay, and its a hotel that i wouldnt return to. Its nice and basic and the cleaning staff are superb, they work very hard at keeping it clean and are so friendly. Reception staff are the opposite though, upon check in they were just talking to themselves and were pointing at things we needed to sign or do, even throughout the stay when we went to reception the staff were not friendly and one of the older barmen was impatient and rude.
However the entertainer is amazing with the kids and adults, he does a very good job.
Food was ok and so were drinks. Hotel is very basic, and bit out dated. Its also quite far from the main hustle and bustle. We got taxis to further away places and walked where we can with a 4 year old.
The life guards are horrendous, on 2 occasions I saw the lifeguard at the main pool either in deep conversation with a hotel guest and the other time he was scrolling on his phone, even over in the kids pool he was on his mobile phone or went to go get lunch to bring back to the pool side. It can only take a second for a child to drown.
There is a serious lack of space for sunbeds, people queue before 8.30am for them to open the pool, just so they can reserve their sunbeds with their towels so by 10am there are no sunbeds left but plenty on sunbeds with just towels on. There was a seriously smelly broken fridge by the pool bar and when you walk past you get a waft of sour milk. Our family room was in C block which you have to walk through the smoking area to get too. It was however far away from the entertainment space so was nice and quiet so we could get our 4 year old down to sleep.
We had a lovely holiday, exploring the area, and using the room as a base to eat and sleep but unfortunately I wouldnt come back to this hotel. It is only a 3 star hotel, so I guess you get what you pay for.
