I recently stayed at the Radisson Collection Astorija and overall had an enjoyable visit. The hotel's greatest strengths are its excellent location in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, its historic character, and the professionalism of the staff. It is a beautiful property and provides a very good base from which to explore the city. That said, I noticed a number of small issues which, while not serious individually, were surprising for a five-star hotel at this price point. My room was comfortable but felt quite small for a rate of around €200 per night. The air conditioning also did not appear to be functioning effectively, making it difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. In the bathroom, the shower screen did not adequately prevent water from spreading into the main bathroom area, and the extraction/ventilation seemed insufficient. At breakfast, I ordered Eggs Royale. Unfortunately, the eggs were overcooked and the presentation was not at the standard I would normally expect from a five-star property. I also noticed that a fitting was missing from the backplate in the reception/restaurant restroom. This is a minor maintenance issue, but attention to such details is often what distinguishes a good hotel from an excellent one. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would still recommend the hotel for its location, character, and atmosphere. My comments are intended constructively, as the issues I encountered are all relatively easy to address and, if resolved, would help the hotel consistently deliver the five-star experience it aims to provide.
We spent five wonderful days at this extraordinarily beautiful hotel. The staff are very helpful, friendly, and highly professional. Furthermore, we were assigned Room 222—featuring a lovely balcony situated above the entrance—from which we were even able to observe the arrival and departure of the Finnish President. All city-center attractions are within easy walking distance. The hotel’s breakfast is fantastic, offering a huge selection and an abundance of fresh ingredients. Many thanks to all the staff at this beautiful establishment who made this outstanding stay possible for us.
We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel was beautifully designed. Our room was clean, spacious, well thought out and had everything we could need. The breakfast was exceptional! A great variety, including hash browns and baked beans which made us as brits happy! The chia seed pudding was my favourite alongside the brilliant pastries! The location was perfect. One of the best things about the hotel was the staff! They were so friendly and polite. They made our stay exceptional! Finally, the air-con worked well which saved us during the heat wave! We didn’t manage to get time to use the spa facilities but they looked brilliant! Overall, an amazing stay!
We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Collection Astorija Hotel Vilnius. The location is excellent, with an easy walk to the city’s main attractions and the heart of the Old Town. Our room overlooked the beautiful Church of St. Casimir, which made for a lovely view. As our room faced the street, we did notice some noise from maintenance vehicles outside, but it was only a minor inconvenience. What really made our stay memorable was the outstanding hospitality. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The breakfast, restaurant, and bar staff were especially kind and welcoming, always providing service with a smile and making us feel very well looked after. We also accidentally left some belongings behind after checking out, and the team went above and beyond by carefully packing everything and helping us arrange collection with the courier we had organised. We were incredibly grateful for their assistance. The only disappointment was that the spa, sauna, and main gym were closed for maintenance during our visit. As we were travelling in the middle of winter, we had been looking forward to relaxing in these facilities after a day of sightseeing. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel for its fantastic location, beautiful rooms, and, above all, its exceptional service.
Overall, we had a good stay at the Radisson. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the pool was nice. The gym could be better equipped, and we found that some of the staff weren’t overly helpful at times. A special mention has to go to Kris, who absolutely made the whole experience. He was friendly, welcoming and genuinely one of the best parts of our stay — a real asset to the hotel.
