My partner and I spent 7 nights in Remisens Hotel Albatros, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. 😊 We arrived around 11.30am, and although check in wasn’t until 4pm we were told our room was actually ready. We understand this was just a case of good luck, and can’t be promised every time, but we were very happy to hear this. There is a great variety of food at the restaurant, and all the food is clearly labelled with allergens. The food is good quality, and when a dish becomes empty the staff are quick to replace it. Our room was spacious and clean, with a large balcony and bathroom. We didn’t book a sea view room but we were lucky we had a small view of the beautiful sea! All the staff have been super friendly and approachable. There is a group of entertainers who carry out water activities at the pool with music, suitable for children and adults, as well as a kids club. The hotel also had live music every night. There is an indoor pool, alongside sauna’s and spa rooms. Location is perfect, the hotel is a stones throw away from the beach. And a short 10 minute walk will take you into the beautiful town of Cavtat. With a variety of restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, and supermarkets. Unfortunately, our experience at Hotel Albatros in Croatia was very disappointing, particularly considering the price we paid. The hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but based on our experience, we would personally rate it closer to 2 stars. The overall standard of service and facilities did not reflect what we would expect from a 4-star hotel. The hotel’s description stated that guests had free access to the beach, but upon arrival we discovered that access was subject to an additional charge. This was particularly disappointing as it did not match the information provided when booking. We were also concerned that the main entrance was left open, allowing people from outside the hotel to enter the premises. This reduced the sense of privacy, security and exclusivity we expected. The all-inclusive experience was also well below our expectations. There was no music or entertainment around the pool, and the selection and availability of drinks did not feel consistent with what we would expect from an all-inclusive 4-star hotel. Considering the overall quality of the facilities and services compared with the price paid, we feel the hotel offered very poor value for money. Sadly, this was a very disappointing stay. In our opinion, this hotel does not meet the standard we would expect from a 4-star property, and we would not recommend it or stay here again
I had an amazing stay at this hotel, and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with kindness and professionalism by the entire staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the facilities were excellent. Everything was well organized, making my holiday truly relaxing and enjoyable. The biggest highlight of my stay was definitely the animation team. They were full of energy, enthusiasm, and positivity every single day. They organized fantastic activities for both adults and children, creating a fun and friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel. The evening shows were entertaining, professional, and always full of excitement. It was impossible to get bored because there was always something enjoyable happening. A huge thank you to the animation team for your incredible hard work, dedication, and genuine smiles. You made every guest feel welcome and included, and your passion for what you do really shows. You turned an already great vacation into an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect holiday. I can’t wait to come back again. Hotel has great facilities ( gym and pool) reception staff are not customer focused but cold and unfriendly, food was good ( Mediterranean) our room was not great 107- needed a deep clean and no fresh air ( my son who booked through same company as me and paid the same price had a larger room and a balcony) Enetainment during the day was good but the evening was just various singers which was ok but repetitive. Location is great!
Great all inclusive option near the airport in Dubrovnik. Clean and well appointed rooms. Great buffet’s. Drinks included not great but top shelf available at cost. Grounds and amenities great. Walking distance to shops and stores. We thought the value was really good
