Needed a place to stay overnight in the area. I chose one of the rooms without a window. While it's small, the bed is a decent sized, and you have all you'll get from any other hotel in terms of in-room and downstairs amenities. Very well situated for Old Street station. Will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in the area.
Staying at the hotel as I write this review. Fantastic location, literally 30 seconds away from bus and underground stations. Good sized room, bathroom is bigger than most London hotels. Shout out to Ashiq at the reception, who went out of his way to ensure guests comfort. All three staff manning the reception have been exceptional; with a smile, which is hard to find in London.
Let me tell you a tale of woe and foe. Twas a hot summer week wence my husband stepped into this establishment. To begin there are no windows. Now surely (and my name ain’t SHERLEY) you would think that this would mean the air conditioning would work to air out the room. IT WAS NOT. The AC turned off in the middle of the night. My husband to switch rooms as many things didn’t work in the room. Twas bad, twasn’t good. But.. i suppose it suffices in a pinch.
The location is great but the rooms without a window are just not that nice for longer periods. The place is clean and semi modern but you hear and feel the tube passing by if your room is in the basement. So if the price is cheap and you're here for a short time it's a good option.
I had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A special thank you to “MARJIN”, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and looked after. Great service and hospitality from the whole team. I would definitely stay here again!
