So we visited in 2025, peak season. Arrived at 2am but reception staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Hotel looks very dated inside, some of the lifts seemed a bit aged, loose panels and damaged trim. Room was spacious and seemed clean, two bathrooms was helpful. Staff worked out it was our sons birthday during our stay and brought him a cake (he was ill most of our stay and didnt leave the room, but dont believe the illness was due to the hotel, started on the flight). Bar staff were polite and quick. Always managed to find a lounger around the pool (unfortunatley sometimes may have been under a bush). Pool seemed clean and warm. Beach a short walk. Food was good, not brilliant but adequate and plenty of choice, didnt go hungry, didnt feel ill so thats always a good sign. Brunch bar was basic but good for a snack. Would I stay again, probably not. It was a good stay, staff were good, it was clean. Some guests were rude, kids running riot around the restaurant. Is the hotel 4star - didnt feel like it but it probably meets all the requirements.
Stayed for 4 days, 3 nights (two adults and two 16yr olds). Our room was upgraded to a spacious twin with a balcony overlooking the pool. Daytime activities around the pool were very good with something for both children and adults. The pool was big and there were plenty of sun loungers. People were reserving beds but not in a frantic end of days way as the pool area was not closed off. Not being a smoker it was a shame that smoking was allowed everywhere around the pool. Food was good, there was a variation to choose from, although at breakfast certain foods would be lukewarm. Staff in the dining areas did not seem to interact with guests, I do appreciate there could be a language barrier but at times not even a facial greeting was given. Beach was very close and beautiful and Nessebar a taxi drive away. Only gripe I had was the pool towels require a refundable €25 euros per towel which is a bit high. Evening entertainment was not great but enthusiastic.
We stayed from June 22 to June 26; everything was good, and the food was great! The pool was clean, and it was very close to the sea. The service at the reception was a 1 out of 10—the woman who helped us was extremely unpleasant! The service at the bar wasn't great either. We asked for cutlery for dinner, but the staff ignored us, so we had to go around and gather utensils from other tables ourselves. The staff don't wear name tags.
Went for a week and was bored, hungry and annoyed. No bar staff knew how to make a drink, the food was awful, the area surrounding is desolate and rundown and the swimming pools are freezing. Even the indoor one which they claim is heated, is definitely not. The rooms themselves are okay but the beds are slightly uncomfortable. Would probably go back to Bulgaria but definitely would never step foot back in this hotel.
Unfortunately, my trip to this hotel never happened because Booking.com cancelled my reservation just 8 days before arrival - even though all flights, transfers and other arrangements were already paid for. I contacted the hotel immediately, and I was told that they had no available rooms for my dates. This clearly suggests that the hotel is doing overbooking, because I booked my stay back in January. It seems that they either received a better offer or simply had too many reservations and decided to cancel some of them. As a result, I was left without accommodation shortly before my trip, despite having everything else fully arranged.
