The hotel was very nice. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our room with a nice balcony if you wanted to sit outside. It was very quiet. Our room had two twin beds that were pushed together. If you are visiting when it's hot, be prepared to be a little warm! Several of members of our group asked for fans, but they were none available. The hotel does have AC, but the unit is by the window and the curtains seem to block the airflow a bit, so it got a little warm at times.
The pool area was very nice. I did not utilize any of the wellness services offered, but some members of my group did and they enjoyed them Breakfast was included, and there were many different options. I ate something different each day I was there. There is even an omelette bar where a chef will prepare an omelette for you.
If you're going down to Bled or the lake by foot, there are a lot of stairs to get down the hill. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance though. If you are in decent shape, they shouldn't be a problem.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would stay there again!
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Triglav! The room was spacious for myself, my husband, and our toddler. The staff were so welcoming and brought us a crib for the little one. The views are spectacular, and we loved having a balcony and opening the windows for the fresh alpine air! Our breakfasts during our stay were top notch, I’ll miss the Triglav — buckwheat struklji with pear cream, honey, and walnuts. The parking lot was also convenient as we had a rental car. The hotel is located quite a bit above the lake, so take that into consideration, but I believe there is a train stop nearby for the little train that circles the lake. There’s also a convenient footpath adjacent to the hotel but it is steep. But worth it for the views from the hotel! Overall, we loved our stay at Hotel Triglav and hope to return soon!
Absolutely perfect! The hotel is located away from the center of Bled. We had a third floor room without a view, but we had two ceiling windows. We were able to see the island out of the window and open the second window to let some of the warm air out.
The room was large as was the bathroom. There is a small parking lot and bike available to borrow. We borrowed the bikes one morning and rode around the lake at sunrise. It was perfect. The ride back up the hill was a workout for sure.
Breakfast in the morning was very nice and cooked to order. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only minor issue is there are a lot of rugs and it was really hard to push luggage without it getting caught on the rugs.
I had the most beautiful stay at Hotel Triglav Bled, and I can’t recommend it enough.
The hotel truly has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway — a lovely swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and massage services that make it easy to unwind completely. There’s also a charming wine cellar, and to top it all off, a Michelin-starred dining experience at Restaurant 1906, offering an exceptional choice of dishes. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented.
I chose a room with a balcony, and it was absolutely worth it. Waking up every morning to the breathtaking view of Lake Bled was unforgettable. That iconic lake view is the main reason people travel here, and experiencing it right from my room felt magical.
The hotel is located on the quieter side of the lake, which was exactly what I was looking for — peaceful, scenic, and away from the crowds. The vintage décor perfectly suits the historic charm of the area and gives the hotel a warm, elegant atmosphere. I personally always prefer boutique hotels over large, modern complexes, and this place embodies everything I love about boutique stays: character, charm, and personalized comfort.
If you're visiting Bled and want a memorable, serene, and high-quality experience, this is the perfect place to stay.
A lovely hotel with elegance from another era. Don't expect the latest bathroom design or trendy wallpaper, expect friendly staff, great food, antiques and most of all fabulous views. We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open in the evening during our stay but there are plenty of excellent restaurants around lake Bled and returning to the peace and quiet of this hotel was always a pleasure.
