We had a wonderful stay! The SPA was great, the breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn’t be better. Everything is within walking distance (attractions, cafés, bars, a shopping mall, and public transport). It made exploring the city so easy. I would especially like to thank Andris for his hospitality. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. What impressed me the most was the way he communicated with us, very polite, respectful, and with exactly the kind of language and attitude you expect from someone working in hospitality. He is a great example of how customer service should be. Thank you for making our stay even more enjoyable!
Loved this hotel! We had the 3-person suite. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean. The a/c worked well, but it was set up in the living room, so it didn’t hit the master bed directly. But it still cooled things down to a comfortable level. The breakfast was excellent. The pool area was nice, but expensive, and you had to reserve it in blocks of 1.5 hours. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Old Town, and hopping on a tram for travel to other areas. Highly recommend!
Perfekt Location in the middle of everything and still a very quiet place. Nice stuff and good service. The only bad experience was, that the pool is an extra charge... We understand for sauna, steam, massage, etc. an extra charge, but not for the pool, especially, when advertised... But we would come back, because the hotel is very dog friendly and sweet with our little dog.
We stayed at the Wellton Centrum Hotel during our trip to Riga and overall had a lovely stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a stylish interior and a great location for exploring the Old Town on foot. Our room was modern, comfortable and very cosy, with a lovely bathroom and everything we needed for our stay. The only downside was being placed on the top floor. Unfortunately, the room became extremely warm throughout the day and the air conditioning unit was too small to make much difference. We also requested housekeeping by pressing the room service/cleaning button, but our room wasn’t serviced on two occasions during our stay. Despite these issues, the hotel is in an excellent location and offers great value for money. If the temperature and housekeeping concerns were addressed, it would easily be a 5-star experience. We’d happily stay here again, although we’d request a lower-floor room next time.
We chose this hotel largely because of the positive reviews of the breakfast, but unfortunately our experience was quite different. Much of the fruit and vegetables appeared less than fresh, several bread options were dry, and the hard-boiled eggs were extremely overcooked. The room itself was acceptable, although the towels had an unusual smell. Overall, we felt we would have been better off staying in an Airbnb and enjoying breakfast at one of Riga's many cafés.
