Beautiful setting and resort, lovely staff who work very hard. Unfortunately the hotel is let down by minor details.
In our room there was a broken wardrobe door, table leg and tiles coming off the wall, this was quickly resolved and repaired once mentioned to staff, which was impressive. The balcony was not child safe in my opinion, where the rails meet there is a gap big enough for a toddler to fit through so I didn't let little ones out there.
The hotel lacks for children, there is no baby change facilities, the children's club room looked a bit desolate, but the lady who runs it is really nice, she also does the evening 'disco' the kids loved it but it starts at 9pm and runs for about 20mins. This is a shame because the only thing for kids here all day is the pool and playpark. The playpark is okay but right next to the swings is a manhole covered by a loose rubber tile. Very dangerous. I took a photo and showed staff who later covered it with large stones.
The food had a big selection, the salads were the best thing about it,food each night was hit and miss, depends on your taste, same for breakfast!
The hotel is clean and modern, staff all friendly and always willing to help.
Hotel shop overpriced, paid £9 for baby bum cream but that expected in a resort shop.
The private beach ok, a little dirty, and the staff there completely different, do not like you sitting on their decking area, got told to move, got told we couldn't sit there to eat, basically just told you where you could and couldnt be,I dont know if it was because we had kids as everyone with kids seemed banished to sit over on the beach area, they were very unwelcoming and I wouldnt return to it.
Overall, I'd likely return to this hotel as a single person with no children.
The staff were absolutely wonderful — kind, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. My room was beautifully presented with a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The food was outstanding, genuinely one of the highlights of my trip. There was always some form of entertainment on offer, which made for a really enjoyable and lively experience. Location is up in the hills , but they have shuttles to town , no need to worry about this. I would without a doubt return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.
First of all i'd like to thank the medical staff at the hotel for helping us when our young daughter became unwell with an ear infection- we are extremely grateful for your help! We had a wonderful 10 night stay here for our family holiday- the food was very good, plentiful and with an excellent selection each day (if your going all the way to Turkey for a beige buffet, you'll be disappointed!) and there was always something for everyone (2 adults & 2 children eating) and the staff were all very polite and helpful. We also had a meal in the a-la-carte restaurant for one of our children's birthday and the staff were excellent and brought over a slice of cake with a candle and made a fuss of her so thank you to them as well. We stayed in a two bedroom suite, which had plenty of room and a nice balcony- although the room was nice, we were there for 10 days and it was only cleaned once and we had to ask a few times for fresh towels, apart from that we couldn't really complain. The complex is pretty big with lots of stairs to get about but we didn't mind too much. The entertainment during the day and evenings was excellent and the staff really did a great job without being too in your face which was really nice. The views are absolutely beautiful and, although you are quite out the way, there was a shop on site with essentials and floaties for the pool (although overpriced) and even a shoe shop, handbag shop and beauty parlour! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would likely go back again!
We recently stayed at Unique Residence Hotel Golf & Spa for 7 days. While the hotel itself has many positives, including excellent amenities, beautiful room views, and some genuinely caring staff members, our experience was significantly impacted by the handling of our daughter's severe dairy allergy.
Unfortunately, staff appeared to have very limited training and understanding of food allergies. This was the first hotel we have visited where requests for simple allergy-safe alternatives outside the buffet were often met with a direct "no." As many buffet dishes contained dairy, this left very few safe options available.
After several complaints to Guest Relations, a few alternative dishes were eventually discussed. However, for 4 of the 7 days, our daughter had to survive mainly on plain pasta and fries because we simply could not risk cross-contamination or uncertain ingredients. When dealing with a serious allergy, "maybe" is not an acceptable answer.
I would like to acknowledge the staff members who genuinely tried to help. Receptionist Gonul was empathetic and supportive throughout our stay. During the final three days, hostess Ayesnur was extremely helpful, Berfu food engineer, and Emily from Guest Relations also made efforts to improve the situation.
This review is not intended to criticize the hotel as a whole. The facilities, rooms, and overall atmosphere were very good. However, allergy management is a serious safety issue, and I feel other guests with food allergies should be aware and exercise extra caution when booking.
With better staff training and clearer allergy procedures, this hotel could provide a much safer and more inclusive experience for families dealing with severe food allergies
The pool areas are probably the best thing about the hotel. They are clean, plenty of room and sun loungers (early july)
The room we had was not the best. We made do thinking it was how they were for a cheaper holiday! The room was not cleaned to a good standard. The cleaner spent more time sat in the storeroom on the phone.
The food was cold most of the time. The only thing we had hot was pizza that was bland and sometimes chips.
Some staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Some clearly inexperienced but I get we all start somewhere.
The entertainment we saw was very basic. The drinks selection was poor with the worst tasting cocktails I've ever had. They had run out of peach schnapps and malibu by the second day.
The shower was shocking, you can't shower if you've just flushed the loo. The shower to rinse by the pool had more pressure than the room shower.
The location isn't great. We knew this but others may not if they don't look properly. There is a taxi service on site which is good. Taxi prices are about 25 euro each way to get to the main town.
If you go to the restaurant by the watersports check they take off your deposit, take a photo of your receipt because they take it off you when you arrive. We don't think they took our deposit off but realised too late. (It's £20 roughly to us so we weren't bothered but that in lira is more form them).
The jeep safari was really good.
The WiFi was sufficient, when you check out you can only get it in the main pool/reception area. We stayed by the pool near our room for a bit so had no WiFi. We used the WiFi rather than pay extra for our network.
Over all our holiday was made by our time around the pools, being able to watch football (only 2 TV to our knowledge across the entertainment areas) and going off site.
The poor standard of food and cleanliness let's down what could be a great facility.
Ephesus ( EF-uh-suhs) was an ancient Greek city on the coast of Ionia, in present-day Selçuk in İzmir Province, Turkey. During the Classical Greek era, it was one of twelve cities that were members of the Ionian League.
