Our stay at Avenue Deluxe was absolutely flawless from start to finish! This is hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The pool area is clean and perfect for relaxing. It takes only a 5-10 minute walk to reach the beach, which is great because the hotel is away from the noisy nightlife. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for 5 nights, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations at all. Although it is listed as a 4-star hotel, I would generously give it 3 stars at most.
* The Staff: To be fair, the reception and bar staff were perfectly fine. They were polite and helpful, and I have no complaints about them.
* Cleanliness: Cleanliness was practically nonexistent. When we first entered the room, there was a very strong, musty smell. The shower cabin was absolutely filthy, the floors were very dirty, and there was dust all over the place.
* Housekeeping: During our entire 5-night stay, the bed sheets were never changed. The cleaning staff only came by once just to drop off some towels, and that was it.
* Noise levels: The soundproofing is terrible. You can hear everything from the hallway inside the room because there is a noticeably large gap under the entrance door.
* Food: The food was mediocre and lacked variety. There weren't many options to choose from.
Overall, despite the friendly front-desk and bar staff, it was a very disappointing stay. The hotel seriously needs to step up its cleaning and maintenance standards.
If this review helps at least one person avoid the same mistake we made when choosing this hotel, I think it's worth reviewing.
This hotel advertises itself as a 4-star property, but our experience fell far below the standards we expected. These are not minor inconveniences—they are basic issues that should never occur in a hotel of this category.
1. The tables in the restaurant were consistently sticky. Plates, cups, and even your hands would stick to the surface.
2. There were not enough ceramic mugs, so disposable paper cups were provided at the coffee machines. This is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.
3. Housekeeping did not change the bed linen or clean the floors during our stay. The only service provided was emptying the trash bins.
4. No pool towels were available, so we had to buy our own.
5. The internet was unavailable on July 7, 8, and 9.
6. The reception area is far too small for the number of guests. Arriving and departing guests left their luggage there, and some were sleeping on the only two sofas available, making it difficult for others to pass through.
7. The elevators were frequently unavailable during the day because they were occupied by housekeeping staff, forcing newly arrived guests to carry their luggage upstairs.
A 4-star hotel should meet basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest service. Unfortunately, this hotel failed to do so. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend staying here.
We had a very disappointing experience at Avenue Deluxe Hotel Burgas. Today (date/time), the receptionist — a blonde woman — was extremely unfriendly, arrogant, and unprofessional.
She told us there were no available rooms, even though at the same time we could clearly see multiple rooms available on Booking.com. This kind of attitude towards guests is completely unacceptable.
The lack of willingness to assist and the rude behavior left a very bad impression. We would not recommend this hotel because of the poor customer service.
Hotel was fire. Really really good vibes the people there were super kind and good even made a new friend who was working there one thing bad breakfest later then usual and little old style. But otherwise then that good stuff
