The absolute best hotel I have stayed at. I have been to a couple luxury 5 star hotels, but what makes Kempinski stand out is their amazing customer service. They welcome you with open arms, and give you an amazing experience already at the check in desk. This amazing customer service level carried out throughout the entire stay, and we would be honoured to come back and visit them again in the future. If 6 stars could be given, They would have gotten them. Everything is top class, beyond the usual luxury standards!
I recently stayed three nights at the Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga, and it was absolutely wonderful! We were met at in the lobby with hot towels, champagne and juice. The staff were welcoming and lovely both at check-in and throughout our stay. The hotel is gorgeously appointed and our room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet is huge, varied, and delicious, and I have never tasted such delicate and delicious custard tarts! Viktorija (one of the hotel's ladies in red) saw us leaving one morning and asked if she could give us some sightseeing tips. Thanks to her we were able to attend a beautiful concert at the cathedral that we would have otherwise known nothing about. The hotel is conveniently located and quiet. I really cannot praise it enough. I hope that one day I can return to Riga, and if I do, I will definitely return to the Grand Hotel Kempinski.
I had a delightful stay at GHK Riga. Before my arrival Viktorija reached out to check on my needs. The hotel is perfectly located, right across the opera and park and about eight minutes from the Bus station (highly recommend Lux Bus if coming from Estonia or Lithuania). I loved the historical air of the building and the polished renovations in the interior. Extra spacious and modern, I was very comfortable in my corner room. I arrived on an ultra rainy day which was a bit challenging for outdoor sightseeing. However, GHK spa and their team kept my spirits uplifted. A growing Asian diaspora is renewing the looks of Riga which I also found extra inspiring and refreshing. The morning buffet breakfast is one of the best I have had in my travels- do not miss it! Jugendstil art is dominant and can even be appreciated from the rooms. I do recommend wearing comfortable high impact shoes for the thick bricks in the historical area. The reknowned Alberta Iela is about 20 minutes from the hotel, and there are also very interesting places of prayer (highly recommend the Mary Magdalene church, 10 minutes from the hotel and the Orthodox Cathedral, about 15 minutes by foot). Kudos on the sauna- a super relaxing option for a rainy afternoon in Riga. Thanks to each one of you who made my stay special and left me with a desire to come back for more.

We were welcomed by a very friendly, professional receptionist and the lady in red🔴 with refreshing drinks and hot towels such a lovely touch after traveling with children. We then had a personal assistant escort us to our room, which made check-in so smooth and stress-free. The room was spotless. I mean, really spotless⚪️💠. The attention to detail was incredible, and everything was so clean. Perfect for a family stay. The spa area was wonderfully relaxing a great way to unwind🧖🏾♀️. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety and high quality. We also dined at Stage 22 restaurant, and it was just as good. Check-out was quick and easy, no hassle at all. Overall, the atmosphere at the hotel during our stay was top. The staff were attentive, professional, and very welcoming to families. We felt completely looked after.
