Lovely resort. Friendly staff and a beautiful location with plenty of alternative beaches near by. Good grill restaurant with lovely seafood options. They even helped me out with gluten free alternatives. A great option if you don’t want to stay in central Alghero and prefer a quieter atmosphere. Recommend renting a car if you stay here.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The pool area is beautiful, well maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The entire resort is exceptionally clean and creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The direct access to the beach and the sea is another great highlight. Unfortunately, the service did not match the high standard of the facilities. The staff often seemed unfriendly or inattentive, and service was consistently slow. We frequently had to wait a long time before someone came to take our order or bring our food and drinks. This was disappointing and is definitely an area that needs improvement. In summary, the hotel itself is beautiful and offers excellent facilities for a relaxing vacation. If the service were improved, this would easily be an outstanding hotel
At first glance this place seems like a 4-star hotel. The amenities look nice enough and the folks at the desk are friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the room leaves much to desire. In no way is this worth the price paid nightly. They are small, the “queen” size bed is actually just two small beds squished together, creating an uncomfortable gap in the middle. The mattresses themselves are hard and uncomfortable. The pool is pretty but overly chlorinated. The beach is cute and quaint but very rocky. It isn’t close to anything else either… so you are reliant only on this place. You can also hear everything outside. Walls are paper thin. The bugs are so loud it making it hard to relax or sleep. Was very disappointed with this place.
Excellent breakfast, high quality of dishes for dinner. Restaurant and bar are managed very professionally. Very nice swimming pools. This is a place where you can really relax. Charging station for EV available. Would recommend to have a car available. The beach is the sole weakness of this very nice hotel.
The surroundings are beautiful, the beach apart from a few rocks. It’s quite nice and peaceful since it’s a protected bay. Not really a Melia… Breakfast was quite poor, and the scrambled eggs were overcooked every single day…. Not up to Melia standards. The lack of smile and kindness regarding the staff is also another negative point. Special award to some off the reception team that should not even be allowed to talk to customers being so unfriendly ..! With the exception of the two gentlemen at the entrance of the restaurant in the morning, never missed to say hello and smile .. Four stars for the location, One stars for the rest…
